Drumheller closing indoor pool for repairs

The Aquaplex in Drumheller will be partially closed starting in June.

According to the town, the indoor pool at the facility will be closed for hot tub repairs between June 1 and September 9.

"Throughout July and August, outdoor pool operations will continue with regular hours," wrote the town. "Private bookings and lane swims will not be impacted, and full access to change rooms will remain available."

The project was given to Pinnacle Aquatics Group, with the construction coming in under budget.

"While some wait times may occur, services will continue to be offered to the community during repairs," added the town.

During construction the town asks that residents sign up early for classes due to reduced program and swim times.
