Semi-truck tips over in busy Calgary intersection

Calgary police and firefighters were at the scene of a tipped semi-truck on Wednesday, April 23.

Police said the semi tipped just at around 9 a.m. in the intersection of 52 Street and Peigan Trail S.E.

The driver of the semi suffered minor injuries but did not require a trip to hospital.

One lane was blocked as tow trucks and crews worked to clear the scene.

Several hours after the crash, the road was fully opened to traffic.
