A man from Hanover has been arrested after he was found snoozing in the Niverville car wash.
On Wednesday at 8:30 am, St. Pierre RCMP responded to a suspicious vehicle inside the car wash on Main Street. Officers arrived and allegedly found a parked vehicle inside a wash bay, with a man sleeping in the driver's seat.
Police say the man did not have a license and his vehicle was not registered.
Inside the vehicle, RCMP located cocaine, methamphetamine, and other narcotics along with drug paraphernalia. Some of the drugs were hidden inside a light bulb.
Forty-year-old Heinrich Falk from the Rural Municipality of Hanover was arrested and remanded into custody. He is charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and for being in possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Police say he was also arrested for provincial driving offences.
St. Pierre RCMP, along with a Drug Recognition Expert continue to investigate.
