Calgary man wins $1M, tells wife through Snapchat

A Calgary man used a social media app to tell his wife about him winning $1,000,000 in the lottery.

Lovepreet Singh was filling up for gas when he decided to check a Lotto 6-49 ticket he bought at the Circle K on Coral Springs Boulevard N.E.

After he won, he sent his wife a video on Snapchat to let her know about the winnings.

“She was shouting on the stairs when I got home,” said Lovepreet in a news release. “She was completely surprised and so excited.”

Singh will be using the money to purchase a house.
