Calgary Police Service have concluded a three-month investigation into drug trafficking.
According to police, the investigation began in January and led to the seizure of $150,000 worth of fentanyl.
"On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, with support from our Tactical Unit, investigators conducted a traffic stop in the community of Crescent Heights," wrote Calgary police on its website. "One man was taken into custody without incident and a search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 22 grams of fentanyl, 18 grams of crack cocaine and two cell phones."
Police also searched several apartments, which led to the seizure of fentanyl, unknown drugs, a taser, and several weapons, including a loaded handgun.

Jacob Seal, a 29-year-old Cochrane resident, has been charged with possession of drugs and weapons.
Calgary Police thanked the York Regional Police Service for their help in the investigation.
Seal appeared in court on Monday, April 28.
