Damien Kurek has been re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Battle River—Crowfoot, securing a third term and reaffirming strong Conservative support across East Central Alberta.

First elected in 2019, Kurek has emphasized issues such as energy development, agricultural policy, and economic resilience. In a message shared online following his win, Kurek thanked constituents for their continued trust and vowed to keep fighting for their voices to be heard in Ottawa.

“My promise to you is that I will work and fight to ensure you continue to be heard in the House of Commons,” he said. “Our people, businesses, and communities are innovative, resilient, and hopeful for our future — and that spirit is what makes East Central Alberta the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”

Kurek, who comes from a family with five generations of history in the region, highlighted his commitment to good governance and ensuring that a rural perspective remains central to national policy discussions.

Although the Conservatives fell short of forming government, Kurek noted the party made “massive gains” and said he remains optimistic about restoring what he called “the Canadian promise.”

Official vote counts for this year’s election were not available at press time.
