Smile Cookie week at Tim Horton's has been a huge success so far.

Residents can volunteer at any local Tim Horton's to decorate the cookies.

Chris Korpi, the restaurant manager at the Edgefield location, claimed they have raised $6,000 already.

"The main thing that we're raising money for is Strathmore Family and Community Support Services (FCSS)."

Korpi told StrathmoreNow the reason why they picked the FCSS for the funding.

"FCSS looks after things like financial literacy, literacy classes, parenting classes, and mental health support groups, and it does a ton of work for seniors in the community."

Staff with 104.5 More Country took part in helping decorate the cookies.

The campaign runs until May 4.
