Grande Prairie RCMP make arrest in recent robberies

Between Monday, April 28, 2025 and Tuesday, April 29, 2025, Grande Prairie RCMP received three separate reports of armed robberies, two being at Circle K convenience stores and one at Curry Flames restaurant, all in Grande Prairie.

Preliminary investigation revealed that in each incident a lone male entered the store and, while brandishing a knife, demanded cash, which he received, before leaving the premises.

The Grande Prairie RCMP General Investigations Section (GIS) conducted a subsequent investigation that resulted in the arrest of one male youth.

The investigation remains ongoing.
