The release date for Season 5 of The Chosen has officially been announced.
The Chosen: Last Supper will premiere on Prime Video in the U.S. on June 15 and in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sub-Saharan Africa, the UK, and Latin America in July.
The theatrical debut in March in the U.S. and April 11 internationally saw huge success, grossing $60 million and counting.
Over the past three years, cumulatively, The Chosen's theatrical releases have grossed nearly $140 million worldwide in 55 countries.
Season 5 follows Jesus' triumph to treachery as his final days unfold in a story that changed the world. While religious leaders scramble to silence his growing influence, Jesus shares one last meal with his closest followers. But in the shadows, Judas makes a deal that seals both their fates.
The Chosen, one of the most-watched series in the world, has over 250 million viewers worldwide.
Season 6 production is currently underway in the U.S. and Italy.
