RCMP members responded to a range of calls in the Wilkie and Macklin areas between April 29 and May 5, including mental health concerns, a vehicle collision, a structure fire and public intoxication.
Officers responded to two separate Mental Health Act complaints in the Wilkie area. In one case, the individual involved was transported to Battlefords Union Hospital for further assessment.
Police also mediated a family dispute and responded to a complaint of uttering threats, though the complainant later declined to pursue further action.
One individual faces charges following a public intoxication call. A 41-year-old Wilkie woman was arrested and charged with resisting a peace officer and causing a disturbance.
RCMP also responded to a two-vehicle collision near Landis. No injuries were reported, and no charges were laid. Four traffic complaints and one false alarm were also reported in the Wilkie area.
In Macklin, RCMP responded to a structure fire in a rural area. The Macklin Fire Department extinguished the blaze, which investigators determined was not suspicious. One traffic complaint and one false alarm were also reported in the area.
