Chestermere opens boat launch alongside software update

The City of Chestermere opened up its boat launch on Saturday, May 3.

The city said that the opening comes alongside a software update for registrations.

"Because of the upgrade, everyone must register their boats again this season when you come down to the launch," wrote the city on social media.

To ensure a smooth registration, residents must have the following information:

• First & Last Name
• Email Address
• Full Address 
• Phone Number
• Boat Type 
• Boater Operator Number
• Boat License Plate Number
• Boat Color, Make, and Model
• Access Decal # 
• Access Pin # 

The city asks that residents be patient with the boat launch crew as they're also learning the ropes with the new system.
