A possible travelling scam is being reported in and around west-central Saskatchewan.
The following statement came courtesy of the Rosetown and Kyle RCMP on Wednesday at 10:34 AM.
"There is a paving company going by the name of Construction Redwood or Redwood Paving in the area trying to do some paving jobs. They are driving a grey half ton possibly a Dodge or GM with AB plate. They also have with a flat-deck trailer and skid steer. The company is not a legitimate company, and we have received information that they are attempting to scam or defraud people. They are referencing that they have performed work for local companies and RMs, but this is not true."
The detachments are asking anyone who comes across these vehicles to contact them directly. The Rosetown detachment's phone number is 306-882-5700, the Kyle detachment's number 306-375-5510.
