The Morris Robotics team registered some of its best scores of the season, and it happened during Day 1 of the VEX World Championships, presented by the REC Foundation, in Dallas, Texas.

In an updated submitted to PembinaValleyOnline by club leader, JP Jamieson, the accolades came in the skills competition for both driver and autonomous. He credited the success to some new hardware the team was able to purchase last month.

"The commentator correctly called it calm and polite until the explosive last minute when all respect was gone," he noted.
The day also held a proud moment for chief engineer, Josh, who had the honour of serving as flag bearer for Team Canada during the championship's opening ceremonies. Check it out here.
