Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) have issued a Boil Water Advisory for Siksika Nation.
The advisory was issued on Wednesday, May 7, due to the potential of contamination that may cause illness.
"To stay safe, please boil all water for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing food," wrote Siksika Nation on its website.
ISC claims that boiling the water will destroy any microorganisms that may be present in the water.
The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
