Kyle RCMP responded to a series of calls between May 2 and May 8, including thefts, fraud, and wellbeing checks in Kyle and nearby communities.

The week’s activity began on May 5 with a report of newspaper theft in Kyle at 8:59 a.m. A short time later, at 9:28 a.m., officers conducted a wellbeing check in the community.

On May 6, RCMP received a complaint of harassing communications in Rosetown. Officers determined there was insufficient evidence to proceed with charges.

Investigators were kept busy on May 7, starting at 9:10 a.m. with a fraud complaint in Kyle. Later that day at 12:10 p.m., officers began investigating the reported theft of two trucks from a rural property near Rosetown. At 3:42 p.m., police were alerted to a suspicious vehicle in Rosetown, but again found insufficient evidence to proceed.

On May 8 at 1:31 p.m., RCMP launched an investigation into a fuel theft from a local business.

In addition to these calls, Kyle RCMP issued 48 traffic-related charges, responded to two false alarm calls, and one 911 misdial over the reporting period.
