For the second straight day, temperature records were shattered across southern Manitoba on Monday.
Steinbach broke a 67-year-old record when the temperature hit 34.7 degrees Celsius. That breaks the previous record for May 12th of 32.8 degrees, set in 1958.

There is a chance that more temperature records could fall on Tuesday. Environment Canada is calling for a high of 35 degrees in Steinbach. The record high for May 13th is 33.3 degrees, set in 1977.
Wednesday and Thursday are also expected to have hotter than normal weather, before things change on Friday.
