Kindersley Town Council sets 2025 mill rate, passes annual budget

The Kindersley Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, May 12.

Council approved the 2025 Operating and Capital Budget for the Town of Kindersley, outlining this year’s municipal spending priorities.

As part of the budget process, Council set the 2025 municipal property tax mill rate at 11.25 mills. They also gave all three readings and passed Bylaw 03-25, a bylaw to establish mill rate factors.

Council directed the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer to enter into a Farmland Cash Lease Agreement with Coutts Agro.

Council also accepted the submitted list of accounts paid by the Town of Kindersley, totaling $434,171.72.
