Jump into sunshine season by joining the City of Grande Prairie at the third annual Here Comes Summer event in Muskoseepi Park on Friday, June 6, from 2:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Here Comes Summer kicks-off seasonal fun with free, family-friendly activities including swimming at the Aquatera Outdoor Pool season opener from 2:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., sponsored by Aquatera Utilities Inc., and a community barbecue (while supplies last).

Aquatera Outdoor Pool
The Aquatera Outdoor Pool opens for the season on Monday, June 2 to gear up and be fully prepared for the Here Comes Summer event. The outdoor pool is bringing back some of the public’s favourite offerings, including:
·Grande Access Pass (GAP) member day every Tuesday. GAP members can bring a friend for free all day and make music requests.
·Youth day every Thursday. Youth day features $2 entry for ages 13 to 17.
·Private facility rental options from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays all season in one and two-hour time slots.
The Aquatera Outdoor Pool is open seven days a week from June 2 to mid-September (weather dependent) with varying hours depending on day and month. The outdoor pool stays operational under adjusted hours on statutory holidays (Canada Day on July 1, Heritage Day on August 5 and Labour Day on September 2) from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
