Kindersley RCMP are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a local business last month.

According to RCMP, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a business on 11 Avenue East at around 1:15 a.m. on April 18. The investigation has since determined that a male suspect entered the business at approximately 1:10 a.m., threatened an occupant with a firearm, and fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash.

Police say the occupant was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as approximately 5-foot-9 with a slim build and blue eyes. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a hoodie, dark jacket, dark pants, a baseball cap with an "M" logo on it, and a face covering. Investigators believe the suspect was smoking shortly before the robbery.

A Saskatchewan RCMP forensic sketch artist has completed a drawing of the suspect, and police have released two photos in connection with the investigation.
