The crew at 104.5 More Country visited the hardworking team at Tower Ranches to thank them for their drive and dedication to feeding our communities.

Tower Ranches has been around since 1907 and has been a family farm since it began.

Curtis Tower, a farmer with Tower Ranches, explained why he loves farming.

"I've been farming since I was young, because I always helped out with my grandpa and dad, and so I've been farming with my dad for quite a few years. I went to Olds College from 1995 to 1997 and then started farming mostly after that. Now my son's back farming with me. Spencer and my daughter Alexis are helping out."

The ranches are currently seeding peas, wheat, barley, and canola.

The farmers were treated to a lunch from Baldwin BBQ.
