Bird River Bible Camp is celebrating as its power, and security surveillance have come back on despite a wildfire ravaging the area.

"As of this morning we got power back at the camp. We aren’t out of the woods yet; but we are witnessing the faithfulness and sovereignty of God," Southland Church, which runs the camp, says in a Facebook post.

In a message to congregants, the church says it has been monitoring a NASA website, which it says shows new fire north, east, and west of the camp.

Security footage also shows smoke on, or near, the camp's driveway.

"We can see firefighters on the cameras and they are spraying down Black Bear Lodge and Beave Lodge," the church says.

It asks for community members to pray for the power to stay on, for rain, protection for all those fighting the fire and impacted by it, and for pumps to continue supplying firefighters with water.
