Brandon Lake and Forrest Frank are making waves as their songs have broken out on Billboard's Hot 100 songs from any genre.

Within the past year, names such as Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar have often been seen on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. However, two Christian artists have broken through recently, defying music genre boundaries.

After 11 years without Christian artists on it, other than Christmas music, the chart is showing that Christian music has a place.

Lake's "Hard Fought Hallelujah," featuring secular artist Jelly Roll, is currently sitting at No. 44, and previously even reached the No. 40 spot.

"Collaborating with Jelly Roll on Hard Fought Hallelujah was powerful because we both understand what it's like to walk through battles and still choose to lift a song of hope," said Lake to Music Mayhem Magazine.

Frank's "Your Way's Better" is up to No. 62 after sitting at No. 72 last week. Frank recently released a 20-song album, Child of God II, on April 28.

Frank's first version, Child of God, spent a whopping 34 weeks and counting at No. 1 on the Top Christian Albums chart.

"I want to continue to give Jesus glory because my name will fade away just like all of ours one day," said Frank during his acceptance speech of his GMA Dove Award New Artist of the Year in 2024. "But at the end of time, and for all of eternity, one Name will remain. And that is the name of Jesus Christ."
