The latest winner of American Idol is still trying to process the big win.

On Sunday, the top three contestants, physical education teacher Jamal Roberts, 27, John Foster, 18, and stay-at-home Christian mom Breanna Nix, 25, performed duet songs alongside some big-name artists.

Breanna Nix sang Daddy's DNA with Christian artist Brandon Lake. Jamal Roberts sang "Liar" and "Unpretty" alongside Jelly Roll, and John Foster performed with one of the judges, Luke Bryan, singing a medley of country songs.

All of the other top 20 artists performed during the three-hour special, including Canaan James Hill, who sang alongside Kirk Franklin.

"This season of American Idol took you to church every week," said a fan. "I haven’t watched a whole season in years. And I loved this season!!!"

In the end, Roberts was named the winner of American Idol.

"I’m still trying to process this… God is so good," said Roberts in a post on social media. "From my first step on that stage to this unbelievable moment, I never dreamed a kid from my hometown would one day be called American Idol. This journey has been bigger than me, and I’m so grateful for every person who believed in me when I was just chasing a dream."

Roberts, who grew up singing in the church, performed a powerful version of Tom Odell's "Heal" to wrap up his performances.

"I hope my girls see this and know that with faith, hard work, and heart, anything is possible," said Roberts. "This is my dream… and it’s just the beginning. I love y’all more than words can say. Thank you, thank you, thank you."

The title comes with a $250,000 cash reward and a recording contract with Hollywood Records/19 Recordings.

This season marked the biggest finale vote in the show's history.
