It's time for another Made in Manitoba, and it's all about southern gospel music on this weekend's program ahead of Don Doerksen's album release party May 31st.

Calling the Niverville area home, he grew up on the farm he currently owns and operates with his family. Don and his wife Valerie have four children, and are actively involved in the community and their church. He has been a worship leader for about 30 years, and his love of singing has come through in a variety of ways including quartets, choirs and Bible college ensembles.

His new album is called "Looking Back", and comes almost seven years after his previous release. Heart of the South host Harold Giesbrecht has known Don for years, and was able to connect with him for tonight's conversation.

A big thank you to Harold for spending time with Don Doerksen for tonight's Made in Manitoba, again, featuring music from his album "Looking Back".
