Since Canadian Apologist Wesley Huff was a guest on Joe Rogan's podcast, the host has been 'attending church' and asking more questions.
The 'Joe Rogan Experience' is the No. 1 listened to podcast on Spotify's platform since 2020. While Rogan has never claimed to be a Christian, he dives theologically deep with many of his guests, including Huff for a three-hour discussion in January.
"Joe Rogan and I have had on-and-off communication since then," says Huff during a discussion on the Sola Media's podcast. "I can tell you for a fact that he is attending church and that has been a consistent thing."
According to Huff, the questions Rogan asked involved the 'nitty gritty' aspects of faith, God, and the Bible.
"Things are happening," said Huff. "And he's a very inquisitive individual, and I think for the better in that he's communicating with me and other people in his life who are influences that can speak into, you know, these issues of reliability and trustworthiness and verisimilitude of something like the pages of Scripture, and where he should and shouldn't be looking for the information in regards to that."
Diving Deeper
While Rogan is known to ask hard questions and be rough around the edges, he consistently searches for big life answers in front of the public eye.
"It’s funny, because people will be incredulous about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, but yet, they’re convinced that the entire universe was smaller than a head of a pin and that for no reason that anyone has adequately explained to me, instantaneously became everything? OK," said Rogan during a podcast discussion with Cody Tucker in May.
At this point, Rogan calls himself an agnostic, while during his childhood he was raised Catholic. When it comes to explaining how the world began, Rogan is leaning toward what the Bible says.
"I’m sticking with Jesus on that one. Jesus makes more sense. People have come back to life."
Rogan’s interest in Christianity continues to break through in his many podcasts, including while he was talking to Kid Rock in 2023.
"I think the concept of Jesus is absolutely amazing, and if Jesus came here and wanted to visit me, I would be psyched."
