Growing up in Paraguay created many challenges for Peter and his family. They immigrated to Canada in the early 80’s as a young family. Life in Canada started on the farm but was soon moved to the city of Winnipeg once Peter received his immigration papers. Life would take them back and forth between Paraguay and Canada a few times before they settled in Steinbach where they retired. Peter spent his last working years at Barkman Concrete in the maintenance shop. Peter was known for his dedicated and hard work.
Peter and Aganetha were married for 57 years, minus 2 months.
