CAIN’s latest single, "I Made It," is more than a message of survival; it’s a testimony of God’s faithfulness.
"In 2024, a word was spoken over us; that word was survival," said Taylor Cain Matz. "We were surprised at the heaviness of that word because, up until that point, our lives had been pretty seamless. Shortly after, things got hard for us, not just one of us but all of us, including our families and spouses. And I can see how that year was surviving. And this season brought us to our knees."
For Logan Cain, that message has never felt more real. In January of 2025, Logan Cain and his wife, Emily, learned that they were having a miscarriage.
"I felt so afraid. I felt so lost. I was shaken. It felt so personal. It felt so common and also so isolating, " said Logan. "I didn't know if I would ever have another baby or want to have another baby, and I felt like maybe it was my fault. And I remember feeling in that moment what I thought was the peace of God was really the joy of being my strength, and I realized that no matter what the outcome was, I never left the hand of my father.
In a video posted to social media this week, Logan Cain announced that he and his wife are having another baby this fall.
"I made it," said Logan.
The couple have two girls, 3-year-old River and almost 2-year-old Rosalie, and is looking forward to this addition.
CAIN has been teasing the song on social media, where it has resonated with fans and gained more than 1.7 million views. Inspired by Romans 8:28, the group hopes their testimony of overcoming struggles will encourage listeners.
"We don't know where you're at in your story, the beginning, the middle or the end, but we know God's got his hand on you. He knows you. He's got the hairs on your head numbered. We'd love to hear your 'I made it' story."
