A business in the community of Coleville was the subject of a fire call Tuesday morning.
Onlookers quickly figured out it was the store on Main Street that caught fire. Thanks to a quick response from the local volunteer fire department, they were able to contain the blaze to something manageable before it could get out of control.
That information was posted to a community group online, and in a follow up post from another Colevillian they gave an update on the situation. The store is obviously out of commission, and now so is postal service with it being a shared building.
Thankfully mail services are being moved down the street to the Coleville Hotel, but other complications exist with everything going on in the postal world. The post went on to share that they still aren't sure how strike action will affect the community, and that they will only have current mail until Monday.
As that gets figured out, one thing everything can agree on is that thankfully everyone got out safe.
"Please be patient, and grateful no one has been harmed. Thanks again to our amazing firefighters."
No one can shake a small town's spirit. Expect more follow up as Coleville continues to work through the loss.
