Spring infrastructure work announced by the Town of Kindersley in April is set to get underway at the start of June.
Construction will begin on the 2025 watermain replacement project June 2, the Town announced on Tuesday. That leaves only one week left before a good half of Main Street will be out of commission during the work, as you can see the affected areas below:

This is a much-needed project with the watermain growing old. This full reconstruction effort is expected to make for better water services and road conditions for Main Street, along with clearing up any operating concerns with a new and improved system.
The Town is warning that residents will need to be ready for any temporary disruptions to services like water, and also to watch out for detours as work is completed. Anyone with questions about the work can contact the Kindersley Town Office at 306-463-2675.
