The province has been following along with a high-profile court case out of Rosetown entering its fourth week of trial today.
It's following the accused, Mohammad Masum and Sohel Haider, who were arrested in June 2023 and charged with human trafficking, while Masum faces additional charges of sexual assault. The victim, a woman whose name is unavailable under a publication ban, claims she was sexually assaulted and forced into grueling work conditions while employed at various small-town Saskatchewan restaurants.
