A ministry leader from Winnipeg is encouraging other Christians to join in 30 days of prayer this June.

"In June 2021, I started sharing the gospel and giving out Bibles in Winnipeg," says Lin Arceo, the Volunteer Coordinator of Engage Today. "The year after, in the same month, in June, my two friends and I went to Niagara Falls, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec City, just to share the gospel and hand out Bibles. God did amazing [things]."

For the third year in a row, Arceo is inviting Manitoban Christians to join her in praying for the country.

"In June 2023, I felt God give me the burden to pray for Canada. It is a great opportunity for Christians to remember to pray for our country. To remember the Great Commission and our Lord Jesus Christ, what He has done for us. And it's a great time to humble ourselves before our great and mighty God."

Arceo says there are many prayer points people can follow along with, including praying for ourselves, a deeper understanding of the Bible, and that God would embolden people to share the gospel.

"We can pray, and this is my dream, that Canada will be a nation that will bless all other nations. We're a rich country and we can be used for God by His glory to send more missionaries to the outer parts of the world, to the people who have not heard of the gospel. On June 8, is a day of prayer for the unreached. I'm excited about what God will do."

People interested in joining Arceo in praying for Canada for the month of June can find more details here. She also encourages people who are joining in to share what they're doing on social media to create a ripple effect.
