Valentine Janzen, 86, of Winnipeg passed away Friday, May 23rd at Winnipeg. She is survived by her husband Abraham of 65 years, children Keith, Dianna (Walt), Albert (Carol), Jonathan, Werner (Evelyn), Gayle, grandchildren Aaron, Nathan, Tyler, Makrenna, Tatiana, Rhys, Maverick, Pam, Paula, Hailey, six great-grandchildren, her sisters Marlene (Matthias) and Louise, her cousins Irene and Robert (Margaret), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her birth parents Gustav and Antonina Rempel in Ukraine and widowed grandmother Evangeline here in Canada. Also, predeceased by chosen parents John and Mary Pauls.
The funeral service for Valentine Janzen will be held Monday, June 2nd at 10am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
Viewing will be held at the chapel one hour prior to the service.
