The Kindersley Elk's Hall is the site for the latest Unified Grassroots townhall meeting on Tuesday.
The setting will provide a chance for a discussion on the advantages of Saskatchewan sovereignty, as according to the Unified Grassroots website, the townhalls are about "helping everyday people understand how our democracy works, and how to take part in it".
A full press release available here shares that these townhalls feature a lesson on "how referendums and plebiscites function", the role of party policies and how they are shaped, and a chance to talk about how the system could be improved to better fit Saskatchewan and its people.
"Our goal is to equip citizens to think critically, engage respectfully, and lead change from the ground up."
The press release providing those descriptors was released on May 26 by the Unified Grassroots team. It was drafted in response to the announcement that these townhalls were being moved out of Royal Canadian Legion buildings in communities across Saskatchewan, as the release goes on to say that revoking space for civic events goes against the Legion's values.
