This weekend features some of the first rodeos and fairs of the summer. If you’re looking for something to do, head to one of the many events going on across the southeast.

We will be at three events this weekend, so don't forget to find the Dairy Queen Celebrate Summer Jeep and answer the weekly question for a chance to win an electric STIHL leaf blower from the Rental House!   

Here’s where we’ll be:  

Spring Twist Off - Friday, June 6th   

Hanover Ag’s Spring Twist Off starts at 7 pm on Friday. This event includes a 10-barrel racer showdown, bull riding, and more. There is a family zone with plenty of stroller parking spaces where people of all ages can enjoy the event. The evening winds down with a steak dinner option and a party in the dirt.

Niverville Fair - Friday June 6th –Saturday, June 7th    

Gates open at the Niverville fair at 5:30 p.m. for a weekend packed full of activities. On Friday the festival features extreme motocross, a kid's zone, and tribute bands including Simply Spice and The Incredibly Hip. Saturday brings a parade, street market, wrestling, canine circus, and Headliner High Valley. For a full look at the itinerary check out Nivervillefair.com.

Kleefeld Car Show- Saturday, June 7th   

The third annual Kleefeld Car Show is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday. This event includes a BBQ lunch, a 50/50 draw, mini doughnuts, and more. Admission is free and there will be a trophy ceremony at 2 p.m.. All of this is held at the Kleefeld Rec Center.

Other events include:   

Rumble in the valley – Friday, June 6th – Saturday, June 7th   

Rumble in the Valley is Manitoba's largest and loudest truck and trailer pull. This event also includes monster truck rides, a car show, children's pedal pull, food trucks, beer gardens, an live music. On Friday there will be activity from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday features action from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Manitoba stampede grounds, Morris MB.  

Teddy Bear Fun Day- Saturday, June 7th   

Agape house is hosting a free family event in E.A Friesen Park this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a temporary tattoo artist, games, a craft station and much more. However, the biggest part of the event is the teddy bear adoption booth.

Teddy Bear Fun Day 2024

Gardenton Park AC Music festival- Saturday, June 7th

2025’s AC Music Festival is a tribute to the past organizer Joe, who has since passed away. This is the last year that the festival will run. The show is from 1 p.m. – midnight and it includes country, rock, and cover music. There Will also be a perogie and sausage dinner, and plenty of space to relax in the shade. Admission is twenty dollars at the gate, or free for children under 10.
