Strathmore roads closing due to reservoir upgrade

Consruction crews will be on the roads in Strathmore next week as part of a reservoir upgrade. 

The Town of Strathmore has notified residents that road closures will begin Monday (June 9) in the areas of Centennial Drive and Maplewood Drive. 

The construction is expected to go on throughout the week. Crews will be working to replace the watermain connection on Centennial Drive and upsize the watermain on Maplewood Drive. Improvements will also include expanding the pathways on the west side of Maplewood Drive. 

The upgrades are a part of a larger project to enhance the Wildflower Reservoir, as the Brentwood Reservoir is scheduled to be decommissioned.
