The Strathmore Farmers' Market is 30 years old.

The market celebrated the milestone at its opening event on Friday (June 6), with dozens of local vendors making it out to show off their wares.

One of those vendors was Adrianna Kiemeny, who sold a variety of goods, from painted shoes to keychains.

"I feel like it's nice because you take something you see every day, you use all the time, and make it come to life with art," said Kiemeny on her bottle-cap keychains.

She's been working on beaded keychains for over a decade, attending the Farmers' Market for over six years.

"The creative liberty is fun. I scroll through pictures a lot, and most of the stuff comes out of being resourceful, seeing what I have in my creative cupboard, and coming up with things."

Kiemeny is raising the funds for a mission's trip to Paris, North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

"I am very excited. I went to Europe with my mother last September."

Kiemeny was just one of many vendors at the first Farmers' Market of the season.

The market runs from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. every Friday until Sept. 19.
