DINSMORE, Sask. – A colourful message of encouragement is now taking flight in the Dinsmore Composite School library, thanks to a creative project by a group of young students.

Throughout the school year, Mrs. Ward’s Grade 3, 4 and 5 class at Dinsmore Composite School dedicated their library periods to a meaningful art project. The result? A spectacular pair of wings made from 192 individually coloured and cut-out paper feathers, now proudly displayed on the library bulletin board.

The feathers were carefully assembled to form a large, vibrant set of wings beneath an inspiring message: "Your wings already exist — all you have to do is fly!"

The artwork serves as a visual reminder to students and staff alike that they are capable of achieving great things. The Grades 3-5 students say they created the display to encourage everyone in the school to be their best selves.

The project not only brightens the library space but also reflects the creativity, collaboration and positive spirit of Dinsmore’s young learners.
