The Kindersley Jr. Klippers currently have the #3 overall pick of the 2010 born players round entering Tuesday's 2025 SJHL Draft.
Two picks in the 2010 players draft will lead into another seven Klippers picks in the 2009 players' portion afterwards, as Kindersley restocks their prospect pool along with the rest of their SJHL counterparts.
Klippers head coach and GM Clayton Jardine had this to say ahead of draft day, saying it's a lot of work that culminates into one afternoon.
"It's been an all-year thing for Terrill Swaney, our head scout," said Jardine, before moving to his assistant GM. "Ryan Gibson has done a really good job keeping track of the bantams as well.
"The amount of work we have put in, I think it's pretty much a 365-day job. You take care of the draft, take care of your team for the future, so those two guys have done a really good job, and I am thankful for that."
During the chat last week Jardine mentioned that he and his front office team had just wrapped up their pre-draft interviews, and one thing stuck out to them entering another offseason in Kindersley.
"Talking to these young men, it gets me excited because a lot of these players want to be drafted by the Kindersley Klippers. When I did the draft two years ago, that was not the case," said Jardine, that statement a testament to the teams rebuild.
"Just what we have done with this organization, how we have turned it around, and the excitement that has been brought back." finished the coach who has helped lead his team to back-to-back playoff appearances after a multi-year stretch not even sniffing the postseason.
