Celebrate Father's Day with free brisket at Kinsmen Park

Strathmore's Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is celebrating the Father's Day weekend with free brisket.

On Friday (June 13) the organization is hosting a "Grill and Chill" event at Kinsmen Park, with the gathering taking place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The first 100 guests at the event will receive a free brisket sandwich, courtesy of Baldwin BBQ.

"This family-friendly event brings the community together to support and uplift the men in our lives through meaningful conversation and access to local resources," wrote FCSS on its website.

The group asks that residents bring their own chair for the event.
