NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. — Battlefords RCMP say a serious collision and firearm discharge on Highway 4 last month are now believed to be connected, resulting in numerous charges against two individuals.
The investigation stems from a May 15 incident involving a vehicle rollover and reported firearm use along the highway south of North Battleford. Police say the events are related and have since laid a series of charges.
On May 16, officers arrested 38-year-old Polly Starchief at a residence on Mosquito Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation. She now faces multiple charges, including:

Four counts of discharging a firearm with intent

Four counts of assault with a weapon

Four counts of dangerous operation causing bodily harm

Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Operation while prohibited

Possession of a firearm while unauthorized

Failing to comply with a release order, among others
Starchief appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on May 20.

RCMP have also issued an arrest warrant for 39-year-old Frazer Stone of Saskatoon, who is now charged with similar offences, including:

Police continue efforts to locate Stone and are urging the public not to approach him. He is described as 5-foot-11, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has letters tattooed on his left ankle, an unknown tattoo on his right elbow, and a scar on his left arm.
