Another community group is going all out to support those forced to flee northern wildfires. This effort comes with a delicious, pre-packaged drive through meal.

The Muenster Elks are prepping for a drive-thru style rib supper tonight, Wednesday, June 18 with the proceeds going entirely to support evacuees through the Red Cross. The group is working to partner with other agencies to double up the funding provided.

The dinner consists of ribs, graciously donated by Olymel, and smoked to perfection by the Elks experts who are no strangers to the large-scale smoker experience. It comes with baked potatoes and Caesar salad. The meal for two is an affordable $50.

Prepaid tickets can be purchased at the Muenster Co-op and the Uptown Barber Shop in Humboldt. Only 150 tickets are available, so don’t delay.

On Wednesday, June 18, your hot and ready prepackaged meal will be ready for pick up between 5:30 and 7:00 pm at the Muenster Curling Rink.

Special thanks go out to event sponsors G&S Korte Farms, Olymel and Humboldt Co-op.

Enjoy a spectacular smoked rib meal and help support northern families with their immediate needs during this forest fire season.
