Strathmore Seed will be hosting a golf tournament, with all funds raised going towards the Wheatland County Food Bank.

The tournament called Holes for Hunger will take place on July 9 at the Strathmore Golf Club.

Blair Peregrym, Chief Executive Officer for Strathmore Seed, explains why they contribute to the community.

"Our organization does contribute to our members' communities, such as Lions club, 4-H clubs, sports organizations, and our annual golf fundraiser. It is worth noting that last year our annual golf fundraiser raised $18,000 for the Wheatland Hospice Centre. This year, we are again holding our annual golf fundraiser on July 9 in support of the Wheatland Food Bank. This event has it all, golf, dinner, social and of course prizes."

The tournament will cost $130 per player or $500 for a team of four.

To enter the tournament, call 403-934-3421 or email admin@strathmoreseed.ca.
