Calgary-based musician Michela Sheedy played a free concert Strathmore.

The show took place on Tuesday (June 10) at the Hope Covenant Church, with the event hosted by the Hope Bridges Society.

Sheedy played several songs, including Take Me Home, Country RoadsĀ and other classic country hits.

Around a hundred residents were in attendance for the show.

Sheedy has been singing the Canadian national anthem at Calgary Flames games since 2017 and has performed alongside legends like Keith Urban.

Hope Bridges Society has several other free community concerts planned throughout the year, including acts such as Justine Gilles and Brettyn Rose.
