Whether it's a day-trip or for a longer stay, Buffalo Point Resort will leave their guests both speechless while also having them unable to stop talking about all the amazing amenities found in this one, majestic location.
Landon Kroeker, Marketing Manager of Buffalo Point Develop Corporation says it's been amazing to welcome back familiar faces while also seeing many new people coming to their beautiful golf course. "Fantastic, so far," Kroeker says with a smile. "The course opened and it's been incredibly busy so far. The course came out of winter in great shape, our team has the course looking fantastic. Obviously, you've got your lake views and those never disappoint. Everything is looking very good."
The beautiful scenery around the course speaks for itself, and Kroeker says it's a course that welcomes golfers of all levels. "Our course is designed for everyone in mind. Whether you are a championship golfer who's worried about their handicap, we've got some really challenging par-5's. If you're with the family and you want to come hit the ball while enjoying a day in the sun, our par-3's are for you, especially hole three, it has the most incredible view of Lake of the Woods. It's a very scenic course and it's enjoyable for everybody."
When you drive to Buffalo Point, there's a unique feeling that comes from seeing how beautiful it is and how much pride the team takes in making everyone who comes to visit feel special. "We pride ourselves at Buffalo Point of being a perfect match of both rugged outdoors and refined amenities," Kroker says proudly. "We've got beautiful cabins available for rent. The drive, if you did just want to make it a day trip and come out early in the day and enjoy the golf course or the beach, it's special. The course is beautiful and on top of that, we have a top-notch restaurant that is open seven days a week, offering all kinds of food. There's something for everyone and it's not too far to make an excellent day trip of it."
A complete experience is made because of the staff and Kroker says it's a group that really cares about the guests that come out. "Our staff are great, they've been working hard the last few years to really refine the services. They put the time and care into everything, from the restaurant to things behind the scenes, they want every guest to have a great experience. The community and family feel to it is also made up thanks to the people that
come around. It really is a community feel to it and everyone that comes takes a little bit of that with them when they go."
Making the day trip is something that families should have on their summer to-do list but if one day isn't enough, Kroeker says there are packages available that allow for a longer stay. "We've got a ton of different cabins, we have three different styles, something again for everyone. Whether it's the resort center cabins, which is right by the restaurant, with easy access to the lounge. We've also got our lake view cabins which overlook the beach. Finally, our lake front, which is a little more secluded. They all offer a great experience. Package wise, we have play and stays, great, great deals on golf and the accommodations. We've also got fish and stays, so even if you're looking forward to winter, even though we might not all be there yet, but we do have great packages if you want to get out on the ice and try and snag one of those master anglers we have out there in Buffalo Bay."
From new visitors to long time members, Kroeker believes at its core, Buffalo Point is about family and being the place where memories are made. "Having people come back year after year, it's one of the biggest parts of our business. To see grandparents come with their kids and grandchildren, generations all enjoying what we have to offer, it's special. We want to be the place where people talk about for years after and look forward to coming back to. People have come here and they got something from the experience. They come here, soak it all in and when they go back home, they're telling all their friends and all of a sudden, they're here to see it all for themselves. There's nothing better for us than when someone says it's their first time and they came because someone said they loved it. If it's for a day or a weekend, it's a relaxing, yet invigorating time. Everybody is welcome and we know it will be a memorable experience."
For anyone making plans for a day-trip or longer, Kroeker says that it's very easy to see what Buffalo Point is all about online. "Best place for all the information from golf course prices, packages, restaurant menu, it's Buffalo Point Resort: Lake of the Woods Resorts, Cottages, Golf, Fishing – Experience the Buffalo Point of View. You can really get a feel for what you can expect when making your way down."
Posting on social media also goes a long way, says Kroeker, and he encourages guests and visitors to post their photos for everyone to see. "We love that, we love to see what our guests experience, take as many photos and videos as you can. It's such a naturally beautiful location, every photo turns out great. Tag us @BuffaloPointMB, tag us and we can re-share it. Buffalo Point, the number one reason people come is because it's a stunning, natural gem."
