Rosetown RCMP responded to a range of calls between June 12 and June 19, including threats, theft, break and enter, and a series of traffic complaints across the region.

The week began with officers investigating a report of uttering threats in Elrose on June 12. RCMP spoke with the person involved, and no further action was required. Later that day, members conducted a well-being check in the RM of St. Andrews, again determining no further intervention was needed.

On June 13, police received multiple driving complaints, including reports of erratic drivers on Highway 7 near McGee and within Rosetown. In one instance, officers were unable to intercept the vehicle in question, and another call led to patrols but no contact. However, a third complaint on Highway 7 resulted in police locating the vehicle and issuing a warning to the driver.

The following day, RCMP were alerted to erratic driving on Highway 4 near Kyle. While the vehicle wasn’t found, police contacted the registered owner and issued a warning.

Officers were called to a rural property on June 16 for a reported theft under $5,000. That file remains under investigation. The same goes for a break and enter at a rural residence reported on June 17.

On June 18, police investigated a report of an aircraft flying low over a highway, later confirming it was a crop-spraying plane. That same day, officers responded to a non-reportable motor vehicle collision in Rosetown.

No calls were recorded on June 19, but over the course of the week, Rosetown RCMP issued 102 traffic-related charges, and responded to four false alarms. No 911 misdials were reported.

Anyone with information related to these investigations or other potential crimes is encouraged to contact Rosetown RCMP at 306-882-5700 or submit an anonymous tip to Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
