Steinbach’s newest powersports dealership opened its doors on Saturday for a grand opening event, as Midcan Powersports celebrated its new location on Park Road West. The event featured food trucks, sales throughout the store, and a garage sale, drawing a steady crowd throughout the afternoon.
Matt Walters, who owns the new dealership, says Steinbach was a natural fit for expansion. “We’ve had some other car dealerships in the community for a few years now and have really enjoyed being a part of the community,” he said. “As the community grows, we’ve been fortunate to grow and expand with it.”
Walters added that Steinbach holds personal ties for his family. “My wife’s family is from the community, so when I had the opportunity a few years ago to come in on the auto side, I jumped at it,” he said. “It’s such a great place and every day we’re here, it’s just very enjoyable.”
The new location offers a full line of BRP products, including snowmobiles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and personal watercraft, along with service and accessories for outdoor enthusiasts.
