Nicole Troyer’s inspiring journey across Alberta in support of mental health awareness is nearing its final stretch, and she’ll be making her way through Grande Prairie tomorrow, June 26.
In a quick update from the road, Nicole shared she left the Bezanson area this morning and plans to wrap up tonight’s leg at Ritchie Bros. Tomorrow, she’ll depart from there at 9:00 a.m., heading toward the city.
You can catch Nicole entering Grande Prairie via 100th Street around noon, with a brief rest stop planned at the Sawmill parking lot around 1:00 p.m. After that, she’ll continue along 100th Avenue on her way out toward the airport.
When asked how she’s feeling mentally as she nears the end of her trek, Nicole admitted, “I was scared to start and now I’m scared to finish.” Despite the emotional highs and lows, she says being close to home is helping ease her nerves.
