RCMP are investigating two separate collisions that occurred Thursday in the Warman area, including one involving an all-terrain vehicle that sent two people to hospital with serious injuries.

At approximately 7:15 p.m. on June 26, Warman RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Township Road 384 and Range Road 3063. According to police, an ATV and a car collided at the intersection. The driver and passenger of the ATV were transported to hospital with injuries described as serious. The driver of the car was not injured.

Earlier in the day, at about 3:20 p.m., police also responded to a three-vehicle collision near the intersection of Highway 11 and Township Road 384. RCMP, along with Corman Park Police Service, local fire and EMS, arrived on scene to find a truck and a car had collided. A second truck then struck the first.

The driver of the first truck was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car was assessed on scene, while a child passenger in the car was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An adult passenger in the car was not injured. The driver of the second truck was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Highway 11 was temporarily closed following the crash but has since reopened.

Both incidents remain under investigation with assistance from Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionists.
