It has been a busy school year for us here at 104.5 More Country, delivering lunch and prizes to classrooms across Wheatland County.
The Grade 6 class at Wheatland Elementary was no exception, as they are the final Classroom of the Month winners for the 2024/25 school year.
Christina Mitcha and Hannah Henry are the teachers of this class, and Henry explained how excited the class was.
"It was amazing. We've been talking about how great this group is and how much we're going to miss them when they go into junior high. So, it's kind of nice that we get to celebrate them all, the hard work that they had, and it's a great kind of goodbye for us."
The class was given pizza from Boston Pizza in Strathmore.
They also received prizes from Strathmore Value Drug Mart, Encore Elevator, and Wheatland County Counselling.
A huge shoutout to Audra Reinhardt of CIR Realty for helping us out as well.
