A foggy Monday around west-central Saskatchewan
Categories

West Central residents woke up to a thick blanket of fog to start the work week.

An Environment Canada fog advisory at 3:17 AM hit each weather station around Kindersley and to the north around Unity, Macklin, and Wilkie. It was very apparent for early birds, but began to fade after the sun rise, things still clearing faster by the hour.

No reduced visibility is being reported on the Highway Hotline, but some locations could be worse than others this morning. In the event of fog make sure to maintain a safe following distance and utilize fog lights if you have them.

The fog was not a factor south around the river, though a few places could be seeing their own weather issues later today. Cloud cover is expected to clear but could bring rain in meantime, a 30 per cent chance currently in place around Outlook.

After Monday's weather we are in for a summer weather treat for the middle of the week with highs in the 30-degree range, but then the rain clouds could return Thursday and Friday before another sunny reprieve on the weekend.
